Orcs of Grugrazzir have long been conflated by the Alari and the people of Axont with the unknown horrors said to dwell near the edge of civilization.
Because Grugrazzir borders the Dead Forest and the dark mountains between it and the Icena, this has only strengthened the belief among many outsiders that the orcs are part of the broader terrors of the region.
The orcs themselves do not greatly trouble themselves over such beliefs, having little use for outsiders.
Yet contrary to the fears of outsiders, the people of Grugrazzir also suffer from the devastation and corruption spreading through the Dead Forest.
The Dead Forest is known to the orcs of Grugrazzir and is a matter of concern to them, though they do not yet dream of the full extent or implications of the crisis.
