Axont is a reformation of the Vireldon, who inhabited the valley prior to the Great Deluge and lost much in it.
Realm of Vireldon

Places
Axont is the capital and seat of the Realm of Vireldon.
The Realm of Vireldon includes Axont, Illadell, Klad, and Icena. Rule over Klad and Icena is unrecognized by their inhabitants.
Illadell
Illadell predates the Great Deluge and was built on a commanding vista at the upper edge of the valley.
When the Deluge came, only half the city was covered. The evolved and rebuilt city now sits partially atop its own ruins, leaving many tunnels little known or entirely unknown. Some are fully submerged; others can be reached only by small boat or by submersion.
On the water-facing side, Illadell is built atop the ruins in such a way that it appears to float upon the water.
Celestial Observation
The humans of Delmara, especially within the Realm of Vireldon, have for centuries sought truth by celestial observation. Traditionally, the planetary bodies are correlated to the Veridra, or truth-keepers, as follows:
