Directional Compass

Eadria uses a six-point compass rather than the ordinary fourfold division of north, south, east, and west.

The Six Points

Vol: the leftward point of the compass.

Dread: the rightward point of the compass.

Cairn: the upper-right point of the compass.

Mere: the lower-left point of the compass.

Wold: the upper-left point of the compass, associated with dry country.

Fen: the lower-right point of the compass, associated with wet country.
